This summer, Joanne Sallay, CEO of Teachers on Call, joined Ontario educators on the Mining & Mineral Resources Educator Tour at the IAMGOLD Corporation Côté Gold Mine and A.Y. Jackson Lookout Trail, hosted in partnership with Mining Matters, The Canadian Ecology Centre Centre and the OMA. Among the inspiring group of educators was Robert Millard, a dedicated science teacher and Science Teachers' Association of Ontario (STAO) member, passionate about bringing mining into the classroom.
