May your New Year shine bright—just as the Northern Lights have this 2024! During a Sun cycle’s peak, increased solar activity can result in brighter, farther-reaching auroras—and more chances to admire them. Like science itself, the night sky can unite and enliven us, no matter where we are. As we approach the New Year and always, we are honoured to share the view with you, our community of visitors and supporters. From all of us at the Science Centre, we wish you endless wonder and joy in the New Year.

At the heart of the Ontario Science Centre's mission is a simple but powerful belief: science belongs to all of us. For over 55 years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to crafting unforgettable experiences designed to spark delight and ignite curiosity. This year, we’ve been bringing our experiences to new places, reaching more communities in Ontario and continuing to inspire a love of science in kids of all ages. This is only possible because of the incredible support and generosity of our many donors, sponsors and partners, including @Cadillac Fairview. Until December 31, Cadillac Fairview is matching all donations made to the Science Centre, up to $10,000, so donors can double their impact. Any donation will effectively go twice as far, helping us reach even more people, in more places, in more ways. Thank you, Cadillac Fairview, and thank you to everyone who chooses to give the gift of science 👉 https://bit.ly/3VPNQwy
