Over the past month, the Embassy has been participating in a research project with the Faculty of Business and Faculty of Medicine called 'Restaurant food waste reduction using nudges as a consumer level, an interventional study'. Working with Yasaman Alidadi, Professor Thomas Cooper and Professor Atanu Sarkar, the study looked at whether or not using different methods of signage on our menus and tables would affect food wastage over the course of five weeks. We hope that the information gathered from this study can help us and other restaurants improve food wastage practices! Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador
