Extremely grateful to attend the 2024 Wildland Fire Canada Conference #WFCC2024 in Fredericton this week. I am amazed at the new research and methods that are being shared around how to quantify and mitigate wildfire risk to Canadian communities. So many great researchers presenting their newest methods including Dr. Jen Beverly and PhD candidate Air Forbes who were very generous with their time and put together an amazing full day workshop on using R to assess exposure and directional vulnerability. Extremely informative.
