Apply for Funding to Elevate Your Ottawa Festival in 2025! Are you a multi-day festival that: - Is accessible to the general public - Generates significant overnight visitor attendance - Animates the destination We want to connect with you! Since 2018, Ottawa Tourism's Destination Development Fund has invested $2M in enhancing festivals across the region, and we’re ready to support your innovative projects for 2025. Ottawa Tourism’s Destination Development Fund wants to support established festivals that can demonstrate that their proposed project would add a significant new/innovative dimension to its current offering thereby attracting new audiences, through special new programming or other elements that were not part of their prior-year programming. 👉 https://bit.ly/3B43rBj Festivals happening between May–August 2025 must complete the 2-phase application process by March 28, 2025. The 2-phased application process only begins after you’ve reached out to our Manager of Cultural Tourism Development at tdespatis@ottawatourism.ca to discuss your eligibility, and can take upwards of 10-12 weeks to complete. Meet Jessie Williams, our new Sales Coordinator at Ottawa Tourism! Having lived in Ottawa for nearly ten years, Jessie is eager to contribute to Ottawa from a new perspective. With her experience in coordinating over 40 events, combined with her degree in Communication & Media Studies from Carleton University, Jessie brings a diverse skill set to Ottawa Tourism. Her passion for art and film has provided her with a unique sense of the Ottawa community, working in both the film industry and collaborating with local artists. Supporting the Business Events & Major Events team, Jessie will work closely with Sales Managers in securing a wide variety of business events to take place in the nation’s capital.
