Since our company’s first project working with government in 1998, we’ve endeavoured to reduce the time, effort, and frustration that citizens experience in accessing government services. Twenty years later, in 2018, public policy scholars Pamela Herd and Don Moynihan gave the experience of those costs a name: administrative burden. We believe the concept holds the key to focusing our collective efforts on how to make government service delivery better and realize the promise of government policy. So why aren’t more Canadian governments at all three levels (federal, provincial, and municipal) using the language? We want you to join us in changing that.
