I always say: the best projects don’t start with perfect contracts, they start with mutual trust. On one project, we hit a snag right at the beginning. There was a gap in the contract, and the costs were up for debate. The client could have played hardball and pushed the entire burden onto us, but they didn’t. Instead they offered to share it. That one small decision changed everything. It built trust. It showed they valued collaboration. And by the end of the year, that goodwill paid off tenfold in smoother operations and faster problem-solving. Many see fairness as weakness. But it’s the foundation of strong partnerships.
