This truly warmed our hearts! 🕊️ Through our partnership with the Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace, and Security, and our collaboration with Veterans Affairs Canada we’ve been honoured to see students across Canada bring powerful messages of peace to life. In Charlottetown, students reflected on Canada’s peacekeeping efforts in Rwanda, exploring the value of humanitarian aid and its impact. At Holy Redeemer High School in Alberta, students designed chocolate bar wrappers filled with hope and symbols of peace. Meanwhile, at St. Edward Catholic School in Ontario, students created heartfelt wrappers to commemorate Remembrance Day, pairing them with chocolates shared in their community ceremony. These projects remind us that peace begins with education, creativity, and connection. Together, with the Dallaire Institute, we’re inspiring a generation to make the world a better place. ☮️ Peace.

We are so happy to welcome the youth winners of the Halifax Security Forum's one of a kind global Building Democracy competition and their parents to our Halifax location at the Queen's Marque. The 15-year-old high school students this year are from The United States, Jamaica, Ukraine and Taiwan and are attending this year's major International Forum. Our CEO Tareq Hadhad and Mila Zidan Director of Peace on Earth Society introduced the forum's group to our initiatives to support peace-building projects locally and globally. We can't wait to see what these young students will do next to advance global peace and cooperation. ☮️

Every child deserves to grow up in peace, free from the horrors of violence and conflict. 💙 Since 2022, Peace by Chocolate has proudly partnered with the Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace, and Security to make this vision a reality. Together, we are working to protect children around the world by preventing their recruitment and use in armed conflict. Through education and training, the institute has empowered over 15,000 security forces in 100 countries to safeguard children and build safer communities. When you purchase our Children, Peace & Security Bar, you’re not just enjoying chocolate you’re supporting a mission to create a brighter, more peaceful future for the next generation. With every bar sold, $1 is donated to this work. Join us in making an impact. Together, we can create a world where children are free to dream and live in peace. ☮️ Get your bars now by visiting our stores or online at Peacebychocolate.ca The Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace and Security

This made our day. We’re so thrilled to have received a wonderful message from the 1st Collingwood Pathfinder unit in Ontario. These remarkable young Girl Guides recently learned about our partnership with Veteran Affairs Canada and Canadian peacekeeping efforts of the Canadian Armed Forces around the world, that's how they discovered Peace by Chocolate. This inspired them to take on a creative challenge and design their own chocolate bar wrappers. 🍫🥰 Seeing their designs and reading about their hopes for a more peaceful world reminds us of why we do what we do and inspires us to keep pushing forward. Thank you for sharing these designs and for reminding us how powerful young voices can be in creating change. Let’s continue this journey toward peace together. ☮️

Today we remember and give thanks to all veterans and active duty service people for their selfless effort and sacrifice, past and present, to ensure Canada is a place where we can all live peacefully and free. We promise to live to the fullest and to always remember who gave us the freedom to do so. Today, our President Isam Hadhad attended the Remembrance Day ceremony in Antigonish and laid a wreath in gratitude to all service members, and our CEO Tareq Hadhad attended the Remembrance Day ceremony in Halifax and laid a wreath on behalf of everyone at Peace by Chocolate. Lest We Forget. We Remember.

We are so honoured to be a Canadian story, so proud to be a human story & so grateful to be a kindness story. Thank you to the Burlington Gazette for the feature yesterday. If the past years have shown us anything, it is that kindness can help us through some of the darkest times. This is why we must strive to promote kindness at every level of society. As individuals we can see the change that small random acts of kindness can make to someone’s life. As the human race, we should look past colour, orientation, nationality, religion, and all the barriers we have invented, to see a brighter future as one people. What we have ahead of us is a chance for us to reflect and grow, to create a world based on inclusivity, compassion, and honesty and to share in the peace that will always follow. #onepeacewonthurt

Three years ago today, we proudly launched our Peace by Chocolate book, an event graciously hosted by the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. This was a special moment for us, as we shared our family’s journey from Syria to Canada in a profound new way. Jon Tattrie, the acclaimed author, beautifully captured our story one of hardship and hope, now brought to life in ways that words alone had never fully expressed. Since the release, we’ve been overwhelmed by the incredible support we’ve received. To everyone who shared our story with others, reached out with kind messages, and welcomed us into your hearts, we extend our deepest thanks. You’ve become an integral part of this new chapter in our lives, and for that, we are truly grateful. As we continue to write the Peace by Chocolate story here in Canada, we are honoured to have your ongoing support. We couldn’t do this without you, and we consider each of you a member of our extended family. Peace and love to all. ❤️☮️

Very Exciting News! 🎉 We are beyond proud to announce that Peace by Chocolate has been awarded the 2024 Export Recognition Award by the Antigonish Chamber of Commerce & presented by Invest Nova Scotia. The Award was received by two of our amazing Antigonish team leaders, Sarah Laffin and Dylan MacDonald at last night's awards gala. We are so honoured to ship our products across Canada and the world and we are in the first few miles of an exciting journey in expanding our reach to new markets and making an impact far beyond our local community. Thank you for highlighting our success and for organizing such a wonderful event at the St. Andrews District Community Centre. Let’s keep spreading peace across borders and beyond ☮️🍫🥳
