Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO)

Thank you to Premier Doug Ford and Health Minister Sylvia Jones for your support in launching Ontario’s Childhood Cancer Care Plan, 2024-2029. We are proud to work with the Ontario government to build upon our world-class childhood cancer care system. The Childhood Cancer Care Plan sets out a path for the next five years to leverage collaboration and coordination across the province to ensure wrap-around care and support for children, youth, survivors and families at every step of the childhood cancer journey.   With the involvement of stakeholders across the system, including persons with lived experience, we developed five goals and objectives: 1. Quality Care in the Most Appropriate Setting 2. Equitable Access to Psychosocial Care 3. Optimal Well-being of Childhood Cancer Survivors 4. Timely and Equitable Access to Evolving Diagnostics and Therapeutics 5.
