In 2024 alone, the The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society performed nearly 1,000 surgeries, and over 400 animals that received basic veterinary care in Northern Ontario, through the Mobile Animal Wellness Services Unit sponsored by Companions for Change! Since 2019, the Ontario SPCA’s Mobile Animal Wellness Services unit has been changing the lives of thousands of animals, one spay/neuter surgery at a time! Thanks to the Pet Valu Companions for Change™ program, this 38-foot mobile clinic has helped prevent thousands of unplanned puppies and kittens, providing essential services in communities that need it most. In 2024 alone, nearly 1,000 surgeries were performed, and over 400 animals received basic veterinary care in Northern Ontario. By making these services accessible, we're helping tackle pet overpopulation and supporting families who might not otherwise have access to care. Want to learn more?
