About us

PPCR exists to help others in need by developing people, caring for the planet, building communities, and restoring homes. As a proud member of the Pro-Claim Group, a collective of top-tier restoration companies across Western Canada, we represent a network of expertise and shared values focused on elevating the standards of service and sustainability in the restoration industry. Since 1991, under the visionary leadership of founder Tony Scott, PPCR has transformed from a company with a simple yet powerful purpose into Canada's greenest restoration company. We specialize in comprehensive flood and fire restoration services, utilizing the industry's best technology and an expert team to ensure efficient and effective solutions. Our approach is bolstered by an in-house cabinet shop and a dedicated flooring partner, significantly cutting down restoration times while maintaining the highest quality of work. Our commitment to sustainability is foundational. Through advanced recycling systems that divert over 27 waste streams from landfills and a significant CO2 emissions reduction relative to revenue since 2016, PPCR sets the standard for environmental responsibility in restoration. This commitment extends to the broader industry as we lead part 2 of the EcoClaim Certification, sharing our sustainability practices to inspire positive change. With a Google rating of 4.7 from over 350 reviews and standout performance on national scorecards, PPCR's dedication to excellence in customer service and operational efficiency is unmatched. • 🚛 Earlier this year, Jamie Madill our Director of Sustainability) and Brodie Sandusky (our Facility Manager) went on a bit of a field trip to New West Gypsum Recycling Inc and let us tell you—it was an eye-opener. We’ve been partnering with #NWGR for years, but seeing their drywall recycling process up close was next level. These guys are seriously revolutionizing how we think about drywall. 2,000 tonnes of drywall recycled every week—just let that sink in. That’s a lot of material saved from sitting in landfills, instead getting turned into reusable gypsum. Talk about a circular economy in action. Here’s why this matters to us: 👉 Every bin of drywall debris we haul is a chance to reduce waste and restore the planet (yep, that’s part of our purpose). 👉 NWG gives our bins priority because we manage them responsibly. 👉 Seeing their process reminded us that sustainability isn’t just a buzzword; it’s something we live and breathe every day at PPCR. This isn’t just about drywall. It’s about changing the game for restoration and construction—making waste a resource instead of a problem. Check out the pics for a behind-the-scenes look (yes, that’s a literal mountain of drywall) and let us know: how is your industry driving sustainability forward? #RevolutionizeRestoration #PurposeAtWork #SustainabilityInAction Michael McCamley

  • On Saturday, November 23rd, our team at Platinum Pro-Claim Restoration partnered with 505-Junk, the #RCMPRichmond and Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives (RCRG) for the annual Richmond Christmas Fund Toy Drive. Together, we collected an incredible 2,500 lbs of toys, with monetary donations still rolling in! At PPCR, we exist to restore lives, the planet, and communities. This toy drive was a true reflection of that purpose. By helping families in need, we’re restoring joy during the holidays and making sure there are meals on tables for Christmas Day. 💕 A heartfelt thank you to RCRG and the RCMP for leading this incredible initiative. And a special shoutout to 505-Junk—your collaboration made the day better than we could have ever imagined. Santa would be proud. 🎅 To everyone who donated or volunteered—you didn’t just give toys or time; you gave a child a reason to smile, a family a moment of joy, and hope to those who needed it most. Your generosity has made an actual difference in someone’s life 👏🏼 If you still want to donate, it's not too late! Click the link below: https://bit.ly/419buro #PurposeinBusiness #RichmondBC

  • 🍔🔥 BBQ, Sunshine, and Good Vibes! 🔥🍔 We just threw our end-of-summer BBQ, and it was exactly what we needed. Sure, the food was next-level (shoutout to our in-house chef Sydney Tshabalala for crushing it on the grill), but the real highlight? Hanging out with our PPCR fam, catching up, and enjoying some quality time together. ☀️👊 We also gave out Staff Shoutouts—a chance for the team to celebrate each other and share the love. 💬💙 It wasn’t just about great food (though, trust us, it was). It was about appreciating the people who make this place awesome. Huge thanks to everyone who helped make it a day to remember. Already looking forward to the next one! 🎉 #GrillsAndChills

  • Huge shoutout to our People & Operations Manager, Grace Sham Lee! 🌟 Grace is always cooking up awesome ways to make our team more efficient and collaborative. Watching her get everyone involved in fun, engaging activities is always a highlight. The best part? These games truly make us a stronger, more united team. Last week’s flood meeting was a perfect example. Initially, some of the staff were hesitant about the game idea, but Grace's energy and creativity quickly won them over. It was also great to see how beneficial the exercise was. By the end, everyone was fully engaged and loving the process. #GraceMakesRestorationFabulous #GoGraceGo #TeamBuilding

During today's flood meeting, we engaged in a team-building exercise designed to enhance collaboration. The team was divided into groups for a focused discussion, with the objective of outlining all necessary information for an initial call out. Initially, there is often some resistance when i introduce the idea of incorporating a game into our meetings. However, once the groups begin their discussions, a noticeable transformation occurs. The team becomes actively engaged and enjoys the process. This positive shift is precisely why I include these interactive elements in our meetings. What do you do to foster collaboration and participation in your meetings? #teamculture #developingourpeople #playinggamesisgoodforyou
