It was an honour to: • Join 14 visionary women founders from across Canada and 250+ members of the investment and entrepreneur community at Gowling WLG for the SheBoot Grand Finale Pitch event on Tuesday; and then • Take to the stage at the SAAS NORTH Conference to announce the winners with fellow SheBoot Co-Founders, Julia Elvidge and Jennifer Francis. It is such a privilege to be a part of this initiative and celebrate the women entrepreneurs achieving a significant impact on our economy, society and environment. I am very grateful to every entrepreneur, investor, mentor, coach, funder, and partner who helps to make this program happen. Last week, the provincial government hosted an international economic mission, bringing together 27 Heads of Mission from around the world to explore Newfoundland and Labrador’s economic potential and resources. Genesis was honoured to participate in a key session at Memorial University’s Core Science Building. Our CEO, Ed J. Martin, provided an overview of Genesis to the international delegation and representatives from local industry associations. Following Ed’s presentation, four of our ventures—atlantiq AI, inVerte, PragmaClin Research Inc., and Veristart Technologies Inc.—had the opportunity to meet directly with delegates and showcase their innovative solutions. This mission aimed to give participants a deep dive into Newfoundland and Labrador’s unique culture, economic contributions, and potential for international partnerships. We’re thrilled to have been part of this exciting event and look forward to the opportunities it will unlock for the province and our tech ventures!
