For 15 years, the #NationalShipbuildingStrategy has been helping to maintain and renew Canada’s fleet and strengthen our marine industry, and this would not have been possible without strong collaboration. That’s why the strategy was designed to be comprised of many partners working together on shipbuilding projects. We work alongside Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, Fisheries and Oceans Canada and National Defence to support the Royal Canadian Navy, the Canadian Coast Guard and Transport Canada. Canada has also formed partnerships with 3 Canadian shipyards, Irving Shipbuilding Inc., Seaspan’s Vancouver Shipyards Co. Ltd. and Chantier Davie Canada Inc., to support the strategy. Hier, le #BureauDeLaTraduction a annoncé un partenariat avec l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Ensemble, ils créeront un diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées en interprétation de conférence, entièrement en ligne. Le programme sera lancé dès l’automne 2025. 🎓 Cette démarche a pour but de combler le manque d'interprètes de conférence au Canada et de répondre aux besoins du Parlement et des ministères fédéraux. Le Bureau de la traduction fournira un soutien à l'enseignement, des stages pratiques et une admission automatique à son examen d'accréditation.🤝 https://lnkd.in/gF-wjQGx

Yesterday, the #TranslationBureau announced a partnership with the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Together, they will create a degree specializing in conference interpretation that’s fully online. The program will be launched in autumn 2025. 🎓 The aim of this approach is to fill the shortage of conference interpreters in Canada and meet the needs of Parliament and the ministries. The Translation Bureau will provide teaching support, practical training and automatic admission to its accreditation exam.🤝 https://lnkd.in/gK3RS4hB
