The Manager, Finance and Controller will recommend the operational design and development of new accounting and reporting policies, procedures, controls and systems. The expectation is that the incumbent will plan and coordinate the delivery of financial systems with RAA’s internal information technology unit, responding to corporate business plans and strategies related to financial management. 👨🚒 RAA is looking to establish an eligibility list for up to one (1) year for the position of Firefighter. 🚒 Firefighters are responsible for firefighting, all required regulated firefighter duties and emergency medical response. The role is responsible for rapidly and safely performing duties in hazardous environments and emergency conditions. The primary objective is to save lives, by providing a fire-free egress route for the evacuation of passengers and crew following an aircraft accident. A secondary responsibility is to preserve property and evidence. Other duties include daily checks and light maintenance of equipment, facilities and fire trucks, as well as educating the public on fire prevention and safety. The eligibility list will be taken into consideration for future Firefighter positions that may be posted. We are inviting individuals who may be interested in applying for the Firefighter eligibility list, to please submit their cover letter and resume to hr@yqr.ca on or before March 4, 2025. Upon screening of candidates, a date will be scheduled for the physical abilities test and successful applicants will be invited to attend. Please see the attached post outlining more information.
