We’re excited to share a real-world example of the Rehabtronics ReGrasp Hand Neurorehabilitation System in action! Thanks to Rebotics Technology and Laura Marriott at Hobbs Rehabilitation for sharing this customer video. ReGrasp is equipped with an a bluetooth controller in the form of Head Motions Sensor (HMS) which sits securely behind the ear, allowing patients to control hand function using simple head movements. The head nod motion can be can be selected by the user and while Bill chose the up-down head nod, users can also select to the left-right, right-left, or down-up nod per their convenience. Bill, who suffered from a stroke, kindly allowed us to share his video using the Rehabtronics Regrasp at Hobbs Rehabilitation today with Laura Marriott as part of an MDT assessment and trial for the device; within the hour Bill had got the “nod” to trigger the device and extend/flex his affected fingers.
