In 2024, at Rise Air, we increased our commitment to causes and programs that reflect the values we uphold. In addition to our sponsorships and donations throughout Saskatchewan's north, we now support organizations and deliver programming that promotes diversity in aviation. The Northern Lights Aero Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing and supporting women in aviation and aerospace by providing mentorship, scholarships, and resources to help them succeed in a historically male-dominated industry. Furthermore, we are proud to support Aviation Pride Canada, a 2SLGBTQ+ organization that advocates for the inclusion and representation of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in the aviation and aerospace sectors. To date, the Dziret'ái Pilot Training Program constitutes our most significant commitment to Indigenous inclusion in collaboration with our partners, focusing on training and high-skilled employment at Rise Air. UPDATED! Due to weather and for safety reasons we have regretfully postponed Santa's visit to Wollaston Lake until December 10, 2024, and Fond du Lac on December 11, 2024. Uranium City is proceeding as planned on December 6, 2024. The 24th annual Santa in the North is here. Each year we fly Santa and an elite crew of supporting helpers to bring joy to children across the Athabasca Basin. Every child will receive a gift bag containing a book from an Indigenous author, a healthy snack, and a candy cane. Younger students will receive an additional toy.
