Yesterday, RMHC across Canada hosted our first ever Parliamentary Hill Day. As a collective, we engaged with over 40 elected officials and political staff. A highlight of our Day on the Hill was the member statement shared by Rob Morrison MP. Thank you everyone who joined us on the Hill for your strong and continued support of the essential service RMHC provides families with sick children across Canada.

Double the impact, double the joy! ❤️ This week we celebrated two volunteers hitting milestones with RMHC Atlantic! 🎉 We are honored to celebrate 10 incredible years with Sinc, our maintenance volunteer. Every week, he brings not only his skills but also his big heart, helping with everything from repairs to creative projects. His kindness, dedication and creativity have made a lasting impact on the families we serve, and we are so grateful to have him as part of our team every week! We're thrilled to celebrate 5 amazing years with our Halifax Family Room volunteer Sarah. With over 1,014 hours of service, Sarah has brightened both the House and Halifax Family Room with her bright smile and incredible baking talents. Beyond her volunteer work, Sarah is also a valued member of the RMHC staff. Support Moneris and Canadian Small Businesses making an impact in our community! This October, Moneris – alongside their small business customers – will donate $200,000 to RMHC across Canada. Bidding farewell to our amazing IWK Family Room Volunteer, Donna! Donna has been an incredible volunteer with us for over two years, dedicating an entire day on Thursdays to the IWK Family Room. She also introduced dog therapy to our program, which has been a tremendous benefit to our families. Her kindness, cooking skills, and unwavering commitment have made a significant impact on our RMHC families. With over 620 hours of service, her contributions have been invaluable. We will deeply miss her presence in the Family Room on Thursdays. We wish Donna and husband Richard all the best in their new chapter. The Moncton Ronald McDonald Family Room is celebrating 13 years of giving families a cozy spot to relax while their kids are in the hospital. For over a decade, it's been a home away from home, offering comfort and support when families need it most.
