Our colleagues at Women of Influence+ are exploring how sponsorship from men in leadership influences women's career growth. Sponsorship occurs when senior leaders advocate for colleagues by endorsing them for high-profile projects, leadership roles, and key decision-making opportunities. While all leaders can serve as sponsors, men — given their representation at senior levels — are uniquely positioned to expand advancement opportunities. This research examines the motivations, barriers, and impact of sponsorship from men in leadership as part of a broader effort to foster equity and inclusion. We encourage everyone in our network to participate and share this survey with colleagues — especially peers and leaders who are men.
