  • How long does a new website take? Well, it depends on a few things 🤓 Things like: 🟠 Design 🟠 Content 🟠 Complexity 🟠 Functionality 🟠 Stakeholders 🟠 Experience 🟠 Turnover Any one of these things can affect the timeline of a new website! How many design revisions are needed? 🎨 How much content is on the site? 🔍 Do you need it to do complicated things? Or is a Squarespace site fine? Did the only person who knew where the credentials were leave the organization? 😬 If you have a project in mind, we can work with you to identify what might affect your development time. Let's get started today!

Chief Operating Officer at rTraction Canada, Inc.

This is Non-Profit Appreciation Week, and as a company (rTraction Canada, Inc.) that works primarily with non-profits and charities, I’ve seen firsthand the hard work these organizations do for our communities. In my 20s, while working as a cook, I was lucky enough to get a job working with youth in the kitchen at Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU). That experience was a pivotal moment for me—I saw the direct impact of the organization, not just as a place that provided services, but as a place that created opportunities for each individual who walked through the door. Since then, I’ve hung up the apron and moved behind the desk, working with so many incredible organizations and the dedicated individuals who keep them running. Often fueled more by passion than by profit, these organizations are the backbone of our communities. They include: Neighborhood resource centers connecting individuals to services and supports. Mental health organizations offering non-judgmental help for those in crisis. Programs for seniors ensuring older adults stay connected and supported. Homeless shelters providing safety and dignity to those in need. Crisis lines offering immediate, life-saving support. Skills development programs helping people gain meaningful employment. Immigrant support services assisting newcomers in building their new lives. Sports and recreation programs fostering health, teamwork, and belonging. Arts organizations inspiring creativity and cultural connection. Family and child support services strengthening the foundation of our communities. And that’s just scratching the surface. With today’s economic uncertainty, demand on the non-profit sector has surged—while their own funding often struggles to keep up. A LinkedIn post won’t fix that. But a little recognition goes a long way. If you know an organization or an individual doing great work, drop their name in the comments and show them—and the world—that you see and appreciate what they do.

  • ✨ A digital space designed for real-world impact. Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) needed a website that quickly and seamlessly connects young people with the right support services. We helped bring their vision to life with an intuitive, youth-friendly digital experience that makes finding support easier. Because we know that when access is simple, people can find what they need quickly. 🧡 Learn more about this project at the link in the comments. #WebDesign #DigitalForGood #YouthMentalHealth #rTraction

  • When you need a design, whether it's branding or websites, who do we call? Kevin! 😊 (He's also the guy we call for obscure southwestern Ontario history, cider, and maple syrup knowledge 😌) "Kevin has the best eye for the little details. He knows how to take designs and branding to the next level. I appreciate his patience and his teaching style when helping me through design problems. He's truly a rock (and rockstar) for us here at rTraction!" - Madilyn Celebrating 9 years at rTraction 🎉 Cheers Kevin #WebDesign #GraphicDesign
