🌍 The International Secretariat for Water is at #COP29 in Baku! Under the leadership of the Swiss Embassy in Azerbaijan, and in collaboration with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and UNICEF Azerbaijan, we coordinated an inspiring pre-COP initiative, "We Are Water". 70 Azerbaijani and international youth and 40 athletes—including Olympic champions—came together on the shores of the Caspian Sea for a powerful artistic performance, forming the words “We Are Water.” This initiative began in May 2024 at the World Water Forum in Bali, where we collaborated with renowned artist Liina Klauss in the frame of the General Assembly of the World Youth Parliament for Water. Her traveling artwork serves as a reminder of the deep connections between water, the environment, pollution, and climate. Let’s continue to spread awareness and inspire action for our planet! 💧 #WeAreWater #WaterGeneration #ClimateAction #ClimateisWater This initiative is part of the 1 Million Youth Action Challenge coordinated by ISW on behalf of #SDC.
