About us

Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation exists to enable the growth of Oak Valley Health's Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH). We are a supportive hand for our community and our hospital. Privacy Policy: https://mshf.on.ca/privacy-policy/ MSH is one of Ontario’s leading community hospitals serving Canada’s most diverse population in one of its fastest growing regions. Caring for over 437,000 patients each year, with 354 beds, redeveloped facilities, excellent clinical programs and leading health technology, MSH proudly provides patient care that uniquely combines the scope of a large hospital with the warm and personal touch that only a community hospital can offer. MSH is honoured to care for the more than 450,000 residents of Markham, Stouffville, Uxbridge, Richmond Hill, eastern York Region, north Durham and north Scarborough. Government can’t fund all life-saving equipment and top priority needs. Generous donor support is the reason our growing and aging community can count on exceptional care close to home, today, and for generations to come. Together, we can bring a lifetime of care closer to home.

  • Mental health care changes lives. At Oak Valley Health’s Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH), we’re proud to provide compassionate support to those in need. For Luther Wood—struggling with complex OCD during the pandemic—MSH’s outpatient mental health program made all the difference. Today, he’s thriving and living a life he once thought impossible. On Blue Monday, Luther’s story reminds us of the hope mental health care brings. 💙 Visit https://lnkd.in/gE32HKTG to learn more and support MSH.

  • On October 20, Mercy 4 Mankind hosted the second annual Run for Markham, benefitting Oak Valley Health's Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH). In recognition of Mercy4Mankind’s ongoing dedication to uniting our community and helping others, we are proud to dedicate a Casting Bay in the Fracture Clinic in the name of Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA). • We love celebrating our littlest community members of Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH), and we were able to do just that this December with the Hume family. Oak Valley Health's very own Labour and Delivery nurse Francesca Hume, and her husband Sean, have made it a family tradition to commemorate the births of their children at MSH by putting each of their names on our Baby Wall. There are lots of ways to celebrate your baby’s milestones with gifts to MSH. Baby showers, birthday gifts, Christenings, 40 days blessing, 100 day celebrations and dedications are all wonderful occasions to honour the precious new bundles of joy in your life, while also helping to provide compassionate care for generations to come. Find out more at mshf.on.ca/baby-wall
