This fall, guests can immerse themselves in the stunning beauty of the Canadian Rockies while also supporting the local community - with 100% of the resort fees from all October 2024 guest room bookings going toward local rebuilding efforts. We are also excited to announce the return of Symphony Under the Stars on October 19, 2024, with proceeds from this signature event benefiting the Jasper community. While some areas may have changed, the majority of our landmark structures remain as inviting as ever. We are so pleased to announce that our colleagues have begun returning to Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge! Our incredible team is the heart of our resort, and we are delighted to welcome them back home with open arms.    While we are not yet ready to reopen to guests, this marks a significant milestone in our restoration efforts and signifies progress toward resuming our world-renowned operations.    As part of our commitment to safety and hospitality excellence, we are taking a diligent and meticulous approach to reopening and look forward to providing more information soon.   Thank you to our valued guests, partners, and the Jasper community for your continued support. Our deepest gratitude to everyone who has reached out with words of solidarity and support for Jasper and our resort in light of the recent wildfires that have devastated the area. After 100 years of welcoming travelers to this breathtaking corner of Canada, we are grateful that many of the resort’s most historically significant structures have been spared from the active wildfire, including landmarks such as the Main Lodge, Point Cabin, Outlook Cabin and Golf Clubhouse. A comprehensive evaluation is still underway to understand the full impact on the resort and the community. During this difficult period, our hearts continue to go out to our friends and neighbors. We remain focused on supporting those impacted by the fires, including those who continue to battle across the province. At approximately 10:00 p.m. MT on July 22, 2024, the Municipality of Jasper declared a state of emergency. Residents and visitors in Jasper were ordered to evacuate the area due to the threat of a nearby wildfire, and Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge was successfully and safely evacuated.     Though the extent of the damage caused by the wildfires is still being assessed, the community is certainly faced with loss, and our hearts go out to everyone impacted. Our appreciation for the continued dedication of the first responders and those coming to the Jasper township’s aid cannot fully be expressed. We are sending wishes of safety and strength.    We are able to confirm that though the hotel did incur fire damage, most of the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge structures, including the main lodge, remain standing and intact. While we will need time to assess the full scale of the damage and the timelines required for repair and restoration, we are deeply relieved that much of the property was spared and the resort will re-open in the future.    For those with upcoming reservations, our reservations team is currently in the process of cancelling Resort, Golf, Spa and Dining reservations for the coming days. You will receive a cancellation notice.
