Earlier this month, our Buffalo operations facility partnered with the Amherst Police Department (NY) to support their Community Engagement and Support Canine (CESC) Program. Manny, a Labrador puppy, was donated to the APD by the Devin Waring Foundation last October as a support canine to offer comfort to crime victims and provide emotional support to citizens in need. Manny received Milk-Bone® treats and swag from our Buffalo team. Additional treats were sent back to the station for officers to take home for their own dogs. The facility plans to keep Manny and the team fully stocked on treats and is looking forward to growing together with this department, program and community! 

In October 2023, we celebrated the start of operations at the Sunflower Wind Farm in Marion County, Kansas, as part of our partnership with global clean energy company @orstedus. As we look back on the first full year of operations, we are excited to share that over 88,394,000 kWh of clean electricity was produced in 2024. Using the U.S. EPA estimate of 12,194 kWh per home, that’s enough to power 7,976 average U.S. homes for a year! This partnership follows the success of the Plum Creek Wind project in Nebraska started in 2020, which produced an additional 363,424,078 kWh of clean energy in 2024, or the equivalent of 29,804 average U.S. homes. We look forward to the on-going impact and success of these projects.

We are honored to announce that our Folgers® team has earned a spot on the 2025 Product of the Year list, with Folgers French Vanilla and Buttery Caramel Flavored Instant Latte Mixes winning the Coffee category through a survey of 40,000 people by Kantar. For 17 years, consumers in the US have used the Product of the Year seal as an icon to identify the best new products and inspire them to try new brands. Congratulations to all the teams who dedicated their time and efforts to create an amazing product! 

This Valentine’s Day can be even sweeter with one of our limited-edition Hostess® treats. Our team worked to curate fun, themed snacks featuring strawberry flavors, heart-shaped treats and festive red sprinkles. Perfect for indulging in a sweet moment during this season of love!
