  • Hey tourism folks - Does anyone know of any businesses, in any part of Canada that has, or is currently sharing employees between two or more businesses successfully. This could be part of an HR strategy to deal with the labour crunch, recruitment or retention, a way to address season extension/seasonality, or any other reason that provides mutual benefits to two companies and the employee!   Examples: (1) Two accommodation providers sharing one housekeeping employee so that the employee can get almost or full-time work between the two and make a living wage.  (2) Sharing interpretive staff between and attraction and adventure operator (3) Cross training to build capacity ... any examples would be great. Please post your real life examples here - including when, where and who, or email me at nancy@tourismcafe.org. THANKS!
