At Townline, we showcase some incredible public art installations at our buildings, each one reflecting the unique spirit of its community and enhancing the vibrancy of the spaces around them. We are thrilled to announce that Judy Chartrand, who created the stunning "Rainbow Crow" piece at The Holland, will be creating a companion piece at Holland Two! Stay tuned - our team is putting the final touches on the project, and we can't wait to share more as we near completion this Spring. #townlinehomes #publicart #hollandtwo

With the provincial election coming up this week, housing affordability has been top of many British Columbian’s minds. Townline has been building across BC since 1980, and we’re proud to continue delivering quality homes for a broad spectrum of British Columbians.   The current economic climate has contributed to an unprecedented lack of housing affordability in the Province, with each housing unit built carrying land costs, material costs, wage costs, financing costs, and government-imposed fees and taxes. Unfortunately, these costs directly impact homebuyers and renters.   If housing is the bedrock of our quality of life, and if affordable housing is, indeed, a top priority for our provincial political parties, then it is time for the province to take real action to decrease government-imposed housing costs and increase citizens’ ability to pay for housing. Townline CEO Rick Ilich recently spoke with Global News on this topic. See the link below for more information, and be sure to get out and vote this weekend. https://lnkd.in/g6VFugNb

Today on National Truth and Reconciliation Day we honour the resilience, dignity and strength of Residential School survivors and their families. As Townline operates on the lands of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations, we recognize the importance of educating ourselves on the topic of reconciliation. We're proud of our team for taking part in a local shoreline clean-up with Ocean Wise last week and picking up over 42kg of waste. Since we started our Put Down the Plastic initiative in 2021, we've been seeking opportunities to engage our team in protecting our environment and reducing plastic waste. We look forward to continuing this initiative!

At Townline, we are committed to doing our part to combat plastic pollution. This past weekend, we teamed up with Ocean Wise to take part in a local clean up at Jericho. We had an exciting day with our team and families soaking up the last of Vancouver’s dry weather and helping to clean plastic debris from the beach. Our group collected over 42kg of items ranging from bits of plastic balloons to twist ties, bottle caps and over 1,700 pieces of plastic!
