Ultra Maritime is pleased to announce that we have received an £18 million contract from the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) to supply sonobuoys to the Royal Navy’s Merlin Maritime Patrol Helicopter. Sonobuoys are a critical element of anti-submarine warfare (ASW) capabilities, ensuring the Royal Navy maintains a persistent ASW surveillance capability detecting, locating and tracking hostile submarines in order to protect UK home waters. This award also helps Ultra Maritime invest in UK infrastructure and jobs, creating new high-skilled roles at the company’s London-based facilities. 🔗 https://bit.ly/416oWun #ultramaritime #sonobuoys #UKRoyalNavy #UKjobs

“If the other option is slowing innovation and slowing the advancement of technology because we're just inundated, that seems like the wrong answer. You want to keep technology unbridled, going, pushing forward, and you just need to figure out how to handle it as it comes in.” Ultra Maritime is proud to continue to push forward innovative solutions for allied navies. Our most recent product, the Ultra Maritime Mission Pod, allows arrays to be deployed from a 20-foot ISO container. With sensor payloads largely agnostic to platforms, it’s a first-of -its-kind anti-submarine warfare solution for any fleet of unmanned, and manned, vessels. Thanks to Inside Defense for a great conversation with our Chief Technology Officers Jeremiah Richardson and Andrew Anderson.

Yesterday our SMaP team in Rugeley, UK, participated in a special event called "Wear It Red" to show support for their site's chosen charity of the year, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. The fleet of three air ambulances and critical care cars serve a large population and rely solely on donations to operate. The team didn't just show up wearing red, they also added a sweet touch with a bake sale to boost donations. Cheers to all who participated in making a positive impact in our communities! #ultramaritime #WearItRed2025 #GivingBack #CommunityImpact

Ultra Maritime has signed a Production Planning contract with Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), taking a concrete step forward in the co-production of U.S. sonobuoys in India. The work between the two companies is well underway, with production and testing halls ready for new lines. Combining Ultra Maritime's U.S. technology and production expertise with BDL's Indian manufacturing track record and supply chain reach shows how U.S. and Indian industry can team rapidly to respond to undersea threats in the Indo-Pacific region. 🔗 https://bit.ly/419z7zt #ultramaritime #MakeInIndia #USIndiaPartnership #sonobuoys
