Manufacturing Safety Alliance honours BC Business for an excellent in Workplace Health and Safety at the Safety Pinnacle Awards.Each year, nominees and supporters gather to make industry connections at a Gala reception that honour the Pinnacle Award nominees, recipients and the winners of the Safety Excellence Awards. Urban Impact is delighted to announce that our company was awarded the 2024 Manufacturing Safety Innovator Award. The Award recognizes a company for innovation in Occupational Health & Safety management systems, health and safety training, wellness programs, and culture. Gifting Time and Experience   This is a harder sell for some of the kids, but instead of a lot of presents this year, try gifting experiences instead! Gifts are great, but they can lead to a lot of unneeded waste. Experiences can create lifelong memories and help create a sustainable 2023 holiday experience. Wrap it up!   Unwrapping gifts in festive wrapping paper is definitely a part of the holiday experience. However, this paper is costly to buy and leads to a lot of unneeded waste. This holiday season try some fun new ways to sustainably wrap your gifts! One of our favourite ways to gift this season is to use reusable bags, two presents in one! Another fun way is to wrap gifts in scrap paper and colour them to keep the festivity in your presents. Last week, Urban Impact Recycling Ltd. team had the most wonderful time at the BOMA BC Christmas 🎄 luncheon at the Hotel Vancouver. What a fantastic event!
