Michele Alulio and Teresa Vetere’s journey from Calabria, Italy, to Canada is a story of resilience, sacrifice, and unwavering love for family. For the final #SpotlightSunday of 2024, we’re sharing an excerpt from their inspiring journey: “The chapters of their story are filled with moments of hard work, long hours spent working at St. Joseph’s Hospital for Michele, and hours spent tending to the children and working in a factory for Teresa. At home, their days were spent enjoying their garden, sharing in meals and spending time with their loved ones friends and neighbours. As the years passed, their home began to fill with more love as their children married and welcomed children of their own. The joy continued as they welcomed their great-grandchildren.
