In an extraordinary discovery, archaeologists have analyzed high-resolution images and data captured with Voyis optical sensors during the Endurance Expedition in March 2022. Through a frame-by-frame study of the vessel’s remains, researchers identified artifacts left by the crew in 1915, including a gun, a leather boot, dinner plates, and a ladder. Remarkably, these items appear nearly untouched, preserved over a century at a depth of 3,008 meters. The Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust has now released a stunning 3D HD video that maps the exact locations of these artifacts in relation to the wreck. This immersive “fly-over” offers a unique perspective on how these items are positioned, bringing history to life like never before. Explore a teaser of this incredible project and witness the Endurance as you’ve never seen it! #EnduranceExpedition #Endurance #UnderwaterTechnology #OceanTech
