Lillian Barr, Millwright Apprentice and Jennifer Lee, Journey Machinist at James Electric, a Wolseley Company, were on hand at the recent Jill of all Trades event at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Our Woman of Wolseley Business Resource Group (BRG) was a proud sponsor of the event, which drew more than 150 girls in grades 8 and 9 from across Calgary, Alberta. The girls had the chance to learn about careers in skilled trades and the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops and demonstrations. Thanks to the Women of Wolseley BRG and Brandy Bugg-Boruck and Ryan Powell for supporting the event! We also extend our appreciation to SAIT for the partnership and for planning the event.
