🇦🇺 The event "Greetings from Australia“ was a great success ! 🔵 what we learned: 🔬Growing Public Interest & Research With increasing public interest in natural health, naturopaths are recognized for their expertise in chronic disease prevention and overall wellness. #Research and #education are evolving, paving the way for a brighter future for #Naturopathy, with researchers from Australia leading the way globally 🩺 Practice & Scope of Naturopathy Naturopaths provide personalised care based on the principles of Naturopathy using a variety of modalities—such as #herbal medicine, #nutrition, and #lifestyle advice—collaborating with other health professionals to offer comprehensive support for overall well-being. The scope of practice in Australia is defined by an individual naturopaths training and competency, however, some areas like prescription medicines and invasive procedures, remain restricted and outside scope of practice for a naturopath 🌏 Naturopathy in Australia: A Complex Landscape Naturopathy is self-regulated with no legislated national framework, leading to a diverse, and complex practice environment.
