We are hiring now! 🌍 Xatoms is a fast-growing AI-driven materials discovery startup developing cutting-edge photocatalytic materials for water purification. Backed by AWS, UNESCO, IRCAI, and the 776 Foundation, we are expanding our team and looking for talented individuals in Computational Chemistry and Synthetic Chemistry. We have two exciting full-time opportunities available: 1. Computational Chemist (Hybrid) 🔹 What You’ll Do: - Develop & train machine learning models for material discovery - Work with DFT, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), Deep Learning, and computational chemistry tools - Evaluate AI-generated molecular structures for scientific accuracy and real-world applications - Collaborate with scientists & engineers to bridge AI with material science 🔹 What We’re Looking For: - PhD in Computational Chemistry, AI, Materials Science, or a related field - Industry experience in Machine Learning, GNNs, Transformers, ConvNets, DFT, or computational modeling - Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and AI-driven modeling frameworks - Strong problem-solving skills & ability to work in a startup environment - Fluent in English (B2 level or higher) 2. Just days after being recognized on Forbes 30under30, we were thrilled to be selected as one of the finalists at Western Angels' Demo Day!🚀 Back in April, when Xatoms was just starting out, we applied to Demo Day - but we got rejected. Fast forward a year, and after significant progress, we finally made it to the stage! This amazing event brought together visionary investors and innovative startups from the Western University community. We were honored to showcase our water purification technology, powered by AI and quantum chemistry, to tackle one of the world's most pressing challenges—access to clean drinking water. 💧 During our pitch, we shared not only our investment ask but also the immense potential of Xatoms to transform lives on a global scale.
