In less then 1 hour, I will be leaving the non-profit world after 24 years in career development. Everything I have become, everything I know, the ways in which I have learned and grown have been contributed to the mentors that I have had and the great teams that I have had the privilege to lead and too work in conjunction with. It is bittersweet that on the eve of my 50th birthday that I would be making this career change but I am ready to take on my new career adventure and work some great people in the public sector for the remainder of my career. I have accepted an appointment as a Program Admin Officer 3 (Team Leader), with the Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration in Sydney, Nova Scotia and I am excited for this new chapter in my life.
