What a fantastic Family Day Celebration at Hemlo on September 14th! Employees brought their families to explore our site, enjoying tours, bouncy castles, gold panning, and more! A big thank you to the Marathon High School students for grilling delicious food, and to Greg Sgro for the pulled pork sandwiches, as well as Tim Hortons and Twisted Treats for providing coffee and treats. The dunk tank was a highlight, with our General Manager Chris Stewart and other leadership team members getting dunked, plus we even had a gold brick on display! A huge shoutout to our amazing employees and partners for making this event a success. Overall it was a memorable and enjoyable day at Barrick Hemlo! #FamilyDay #BarrickHemlo

As many of you know, Barrick Hemlo has made a significant donation to the Township of Manitouwadge to support the upgrade of their Community Centre. This enhanced facility will offer a wide range of winter and summer activities for all community members, including a full-service fitness center, arena, curling rink, and library. The building will also feature an auditorium for events and programs, which will be named the Barrick Auditorium. We are proud to support this incredible initiative and look forward to seeing the project come to life.
