Demand response is not a new concept, but it has gained increased attention and development in recent years as the need for efficient energy management grows. ICYMI, demand response is where consumers can adjust their electricity usage in response to high-demand periods. This can involve reducing or shifting energy consumption to lessen the electrical grid load during peak demand, helping maintain stability and efficiency within the system. Maria McGowan speaks with Cinzia Alberti Mazzaferro from Sympower, who shares their advocacy efforts to educate European policymakers to adopt the notion of demand response. Cinzia outlines future directions for Sympower's advocacy work, particularly in light of recent changes in the European Parliament and the energy landscape. 🌳🌳🌳 🔗 Watch the full episode here or wherever you listen to podcasts: https://lnkd.in/d253KG_p #RenewableEnergy #CleanEnergy #DemandResponse #EnergyPolicy #Sympower #EnergyTransition #Sustainability #Podcast #ReimaginedEnergy
