Last week, the UBC MDS Computational Linguistics program held its first career workshop. The UBC Master of Data Science (MDS) Vancouver Mentoring Program is entering its fifth year and last week we held our kick off event. Also, last week, the MDS Computational Linguistics kicked off its third year of its mentoring program. The MDS Mentoring program gives students the opportunity to connect with a Data Science professional who shares their experience in the field of data science. The kickoff event is an opportunity for mentors and mentees to network with each other and learn more about what they hope to get out of the program over the next 6 months.
