🌟 Celebrating Social Innovators in Training: Highlights from the 33rd GreenHouse Social Impact Showcase 🌟 Last week, GreenHouse hosted its 33rd Social Impact Showcase at United College, shining a spotlight on the innovative student-led ventures driving social and environmental progress. With over 1,000 students empowered and 125+ ventures launched, GreenHouse continues to be a hub for changemakers at the University of Waterloo. 💡 Meet the 2023 Social Impact Fund Winners: These incredible teams received funding to advance their ventures: Enyana Health ($3,000): Creating Amatuungo Aid, a mobile triaging system empowering Ugandan farmers with accessible veterinary support. Impactfy ($3,000): Leveraging AI to connect volunteers with opportunities aligned to their skills and passions. Mamo Connect ($1,500): Facilitating virtual exchanges to promote peace, education, and mentorship for African youth. Hunarsa-Ehsaas ($1,500): Developing an AI-driven platform to improve employability and soft skills in South Asia. 🏆 Changemaker Awards also recognized four outstanding individuals for their leadership and impact in the GreenHouse community.
