The hotel is surrounded by tea plantations, the air is very good and fresh, it is very convenient to go to the West Lake scenic spots, and it is very quiet at night. Location – Perfect for Exploring Hangzhou The location of the hotel is undoubtedly one of its biggest advantages. Situated just a few minutes' walk from the famous West Lake, it is incredibly convenient for those wanting to explore one of China’s most scenic attractions. The proximity to West Lake makes it easy to take early morning or evening walks along the picturesque waterfront, which I found very calming. Additionally, the hotel is close to several popular shopping streets, including Hubin Road, where you can find both luxury brands and local shops. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, giving guests many dining options beyond the hotel itself. 2. Warm and Efficient Check-in Process From the moment I entered the hotel, I was greeted warmly by the staff. The lobby is spacious, elegant, and well-lit, giving off a luxurious yet comfortable vibe. Check-in was smooth and quick, with the front desk staff offering a welcome drink upon arrival. I appreciated their professionalism—they spoke fluent English and were well-prepared to answer all my questions about nearby attractions and transportation options. The food quality was excellent, and the service during breakfast was attentive, with staff regularly refilling coffee and tea without being asked. In addition to the breakfast buffet, the hotel offers several dining options throughout the day. I dined at their Chinese restaurant one evening, which specializes in Hangzhou cuisine. The dishes were authentic and flavorful—definitely a highlight of my trip. I recommend trying the local specialty, Dongpo Pork, which was cooked to perfection. Room service was also available 24/7, and I tried it once when I returned late from sightseeing. The food was delivered promptly, and the quality was on par with the restaurant meals.

A very nice and spacious room with a comfortable bed and a great open view of the park and the mountains. The rooms have modern controls for the lights as well as motorized curtains, which made for convenience both when going to sleep and waking up in the morning. It was also nice that a phone charging cable with the three different adapters was provided. The bathroom is spacious and has a large sink and shower. It is nice that the shower has a choice of rainfall or regular nozzle. The shower controls were also very modern and you merely pushed the button for your preferred shower method. It seemed that the guest before me was unaware of this and had broken the temperature control and not reported it to the hotel. The front desk was quick to send a repair person who was very thorough in fixing the control. While the shower had good water pressure, it seemed at peak times that there was not enough hot water as the shower temperature was just slightly warm. To get a hot shower, I had to wait until late in the afternoon or late at night. The checkin was fast and the attendant was kind enough to honour my request for a non-smoking room on a high floor. The lobby is spacious with a nice tea area. It is also convenient to have a Starbucks inside the hotel. However, it was a bit noisy as other guests were not always mindful of the calibre of hotel they were in, which ranks in the 5 star category. It was difficult to try to get some work done with people playing videos loudly on their phones, talking on speaker phone or kids running around. This really took away from what should be a calming space. While the hotel attendants tried to maintain order, it really was a losing battle for them. The location is really dependent on what you are looking for. I found it nice to have the open park view but there are not many interesting restaurants around. For the middle eastern food, you need to bike about 1.5km. This was fine when the weather was good, but it was not convenient during the latter part of my stay when it rained all day. A few things to be aware of when booking. The breakfast was large with a lot of options but it really is a Chinese style breakfast. To call it Western and Chinese is quite misleading as there were only a few Western options, such as omelets. There is a great large screen television in the room, but only 2 or 3 English channels with the others in Chinese. There is a shuttle bus to the market, but it was a bit disappointing to learn that it only runs twice per day. The main area for the hotel to work on is its consistency of service. Some of the employees were outstanding but there seems to be a need for additional training. For example, the room came with a complimentary daily minibar, but I had to ask each day for it to be refilled. This was quite embarrassing to do, especially when the stocking was just some soft drinks with a single Tsingtao beer. Also, when I was in the toilet, one of the chefs walked out without washing his hands. While he may have washed them (hopefully) when he returned to the kitchen, he should be sure to wash them in front of guests. Lastly, the pool and fitness area seemed to require special access and the people working at the desk for the pool made me feel very uncomfortable when I wanted to see the facilities, so I just left and did not return. This was particularly disappointing because one of the reasons I booked the hotel was for these facilities. Overall it is a very nice hotel and I would book it again. But additional employee training would be appropriate so the service does not take away from what is a high quality hotel.

Our party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024.  We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting.  We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in.  I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops.  Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us.  Not a soul was in sight.  Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed.  From there on, however, things only got better and better.  So, yes, this was a quiet property.  There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about.  But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected.  And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient.  During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out.  The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand.  Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance.  The layout was a bit of a labyrinth.  There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display.  Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake.  The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space.  Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards.  Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?).  They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night.  There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater.  Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds.  Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace.  Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel.  Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular.  We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip).  We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality.  Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable.  In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area.  In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort.  We were very comfortable during our short stay.  We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff.  We would love to return.  It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions.  Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

Highly Recommended! The hotel offers what it promises and provides quality service with exceptional views! Location ⭐️ Perfectly nested in the picturesque Anji natural landscape! Ridiculously close to the tele cabins to Skyland- which is an adventure land park/hiking/ skiing: Cleanliness ⭐️ The room was very clean and nicely set up. Everything was carefully designed and hygienic. Staff ⭐️ Very helpful! (Despite my limited Chinese). We got an upgrade and lots of smiles!! We definitely recommend to friends!

I go to Hangzhou every year, and this hotel is the one I am most satisfied with. I originally booked for only one day and immediately extended it for another night. This hotel is really pet-friendly, and the service is really good in every aspect, including helping with luggage, hotel introduction, meals, etc. However, I would like to remind you that if you bring a pet with you, it is best not to use a stroller. The hotel has many small roads, small bridges, crossroads, etc. The scenery is very beautiful, but it is very inconvenient to push a stroller. The waiter will help at any time~ The photo taking service provided by the hotel is also very good because the scenery taken by the hotel is really beautiful. The floor heating in the room is very comfortable, and the large bathtub is also equipped with a disposable cover, which is very thoughtful. I will continue to come next year!

We came to Hangzhou in the season when maple leaves are at their red. My husband and I chose the Shusheng Xunzhen No. 1 Courtyard, which is not far from Lingyin Temple. The housekeeper was warm and thoughtful. The room was very artistic, just what we liked. The breakfast buffet had a lot of varieties. You can take pictures of very beautiful red maples in the hotel courtyard. There is also beautiful scenery not far away. We northerners were amazed. When checking out, the housekeeper also gave us souvenirs, bracelets and the God of Wealth. Who can refuse such a wonderful gift? Thank you for your thoughtful and warm service. We will see you again, for sure.

We were attracted by the hotel's decoration style, and the actual scene of the hotel made us even more amazed! Both the toiletries and room facilities are of high quality. The windows are clean and bright, and the bright sunshine shines into the warm room. Use the teapot provided by the hotel to make a pot of black tea, and instantly enter the beautiful vacation mode. The hotel meals are also very exquisite. In addition to going out, we all choose to eat in the restaurant. The hotel also has a free afternoon tea service. We didn't go to the restaurant for afternoon tea because we were tired after going out. The hotel housekeeper Xiao Ding specially arranged to send afternoon tea to the room to enjoy, which was very touching! Just a leisure two days trip.. The hotel was well located close to the Meishan beach Park, the port museum and the ice and snow world - walkable distance. The staffs (especially front desks) are quite nice, always willing to help, and ready to give a cookie on request (highlight of my trip).. They had a huge variety of tasty breakfast options for locals and international.. Only issue was the squeaky cupboards in the rooms.. Oh... They have a gym and swimming pool (in-use, which is great post-covid) ..

We booked our stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Jiaxing, to celebrate my wife's Birthday, and to enjoy Dragon Boat Festival. The initial impact when entering the Hotel is good, the fragrance is pleasant, and the decor is modern and sleek. During the online booking process, I had some Special Requests ”Romantic Theme” for the room, the request, was promptly approved. Upon entering the Hotel, we were greeted by Sandy, at the front of House / Reception area. Her service was prompt and professional. She was friendly and informed us, that my wife would be receiving a cake for her Birthday. The check in process was efficient. We had the opportunity to briefly meet Edith, the Manager on duty. She was friendly and welcoming. The Birthday Cake and Fruit Platter, was delivered to our room, shortly after we checked in. In my experience, the ”Restaurant” is the ”heartbeat” of any successful Hotel. A restaurant with poor service and / or bad food, will surely lead to the demise of the business. Fortunately, that's not the case for the ”Eatery Restaurant” at the ”Four Points by Sheraton” in Jiaxing. The Restaurant's Staff are all very professional, and take pride in what they do. The Buffet Dinner is available, during the weekends, and is very reasonably priced (great value for money). The variety and quality of the cusine, is on International standard. Western and Chinese dishes, are professionally prepared, and served at this Restaurant. If I were to single out on special dish, it would most definitely be the ”Beef Wellington”, it was perfectly cooked and presented (the Best I have eaten, to date). Compliments to the chef/s in this regard. Special thanks to Tina, whom is always courteous, when I / we, visit the Restaurant. Infact, Tina is the reason for my return and stay at the Hotel, this time around. As she was most courteous and professional, during another visit to the Restaurant some time back. Thank you again, Tina. We would also like to thank Gary, whom provided superb service and courtesy, during the Dinner service. I could not help but notice, that Housekeeping were cleaning the rooms thoroughly. Their service should not be overlooked, as their hard work, ensure that the facilities remain on standard. Breakfast was excellent, with a superior variety of quality dishes and ingredients available. We can recommend the ”Four Points by Sheraton” Jiaxing, to all guests, foreign and domestic. We look forward to our next stay, and hope to enjoy many more special moments at this Hotel. See you soon.
