I really liked this hotel! The bed was comfortable, the room is clean, and the interior is cozy, at night it was no noisy. The staff is polite and the guy at the reception helped us at night to know what we were asked. Location of the hotel near the center, it is convenient to get by taxi. One minus is that there was not enough free space near the washbasin. Also in the hotel give a coupon for free coffee, but coffee can be obtained only after 9 am. Here is a small terrace and even a trailer! Upstairs there is a place where you can spend waged clothes. We are really satisfied!

The value for money with this hotel is hard to beat. It is centrally located next to a number of restaurants and within walking distance of famous attractions. The staff speaks great English and is very accommodating. You can book transport to other areas of interest like Yangshuo or the Longji rice terraces from the hotel. The rooms are simple but quite clean and comfortable, and there is a nice hostel atmosphere in the lobby.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and could speak English, making my stay even more comfortable. The location was perfect, close to all the major tourist sites. The bed was very comfy, and the air conditioning worked great, which was a relief after a day of exploring. I will 100% be booking this hotel again the next time I come to Guilin. Highly recommended!

Very bad service. Front desk was never staffed, we had to wait and search for someone for checking in/ every time we needed something. We booked a room with breakfast, which also was a huge fail. Breakfast is served in a separate little restaurant in the street, however this place was randomly closed when we were there. The only available staff to talk to was a cleaning lady who came after we waited for 30 minutes. She unsuccessfully tried to contact someone in charge and then just walked away, leaving us without a solution. The boss apparently was nowhere to be found and did not reply to her messages. After more than one hour, we went to a restaurant ourselves and of course also paid for the breakfast. When asked, they did not refund us this money. This is really sad, as the room was otherwise fairly nice.

Would totally recommend: it’s in the nibble of the beauty! The bamboo raft ending point is just minutes away, nice pools, a smaller one on top, and a big one outside, great views, very caring staff. They gave me a free lift to bamboo raft when I was in a hurry. Spacious room, shower, relaxing bath, and having a balcony with a fantastic view was a blast. Turtle in their restaurant was delicious too!

Amazing stay! The staff were extremely nice and service was really good. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the environment around it was very relaxing and peaceful. Bikes are free to rent but there is also an ebike rental nearby with a very nice owner as well, who made sure we were all safe to ride. Would come back again, beautiful place!

The room is very clean, the view outside the room is very good, the 7th floor has a wide view, you can also watch the sunrise and sunset, take very good photos, there is free afternoon tea, self-service coffee with unlimited refills, and small desserts in the evening. The ladies at the front desk answered all questions and explained the tourist routes in a very professional and detailed manner. The hotel is very close to the Gongnong Bridge, just a 500-meter walk away. The hotel rents small electric cars, and we rode to the nearby rice fields, rural scenery, and the scenery by the Yulong River. The scenery is very good and the price-performance ratio is very good. Highly recommended!

Was slightly concerned about noise levels reported here but had no issues with that, though room was on the second floor on the restaurant/street side of the building. Simple but appealing room with balcony. All the bathroom fixtures etc worked well. It's a nice guesthouse, not an urban 5-star establishment, so the 5 stars I have left for the facilities are with that proviso in mind; I don't think there was an elevator, for instance. Ate early at the hotel restaurant on the terrace just outside its entrance and very much enjoyed the food--good variety, cooked well. (Unexpectedly, the restaurant was booked full the next morning with a large tour group of some sort, so grabbed a bowl of mifen at a nearby breakfast place instead.) The real reason for leaving this review is to convey my pleasure with the helpfulness of the staff. The English-speaking women manning the reception desks were gone for the day when all power in the building cut out around 11pm. The night manager at the front desk informed me that the entire city was without power, and nothing of this nature had occurred in the past few years. (I went down to check because some hotels in China economize by turning AC off during the night, but it was clear that all power was out for the entire neighborhood at least.) He then kindly handled over a portable power bank for my phone when I mentioned it was running low. Back in bed in the dark I then got an unexpected text that my flight from Guilin to Shanghai the next night had been canceled. Wondering why, the front desk staff told me that heavy storms were expected. This would mean that all other flights would be cancelled too, and anyone like me who had to be elsewhere would be scrambling for any remaining seats the following day. At this point I was worried, as I had an international flight to catch. Remembering the train station not far outside Yangshuo, I asked about train options, and that was when a young woman who works at the hotel named Xiao Yang 小楊 came to my rescue. She pulled out her cell phone, checked the train schedules for me, gave me a couple options, recognized that only a handful of tickets remained on a high-speed rail train leaving from Guilin around midday and arriving in Shanghai before my canceled flight would have arrived. She used our passport info to book me two tickets on the train (fronting what must have been her monthly salary to do so, no questions asked, for which I immediately reimbursed her--download and validate Alipay before arriving in China folks, it's an essential tool). Took a car to the Guilin north rail station the next morning, made some fast friends in the waiting hall, and was then on the way to Shanghai before the storms hit. 小楊's willingness to drop everything and care about the travel woes of a random guest like me allowed me to totally avoid the nightmare of rebooking flights and hotels amid a scrum of other travelers to make it to Shanghai in time. Power came back on at 2am, I returned the power bank in the morning, and Xiao Yang was nowhere to be found. So thank you Xiao Yang, and thank you to the Riverview Hotel for employing people who care about their guests.

These B&B hotels are simply the sublimation of my parent-child trip. At first, I decided to go to Yangshuo, just for a simple parent-child weekend trip. I did a lot of homework on the Internet. According to the score, this store is also ranked relatively high. After comprehensive comparison, I chose it. After going there, it was indeed right. Before entering, the children were deeply attracted by the scenery of the hotel's location. They were full of praise all the way. After arriving at the hotel, the housekeeper was very enthusiastic and provided considerate service from check-in to check-in. When you are tired of playing, you can go back to the room to watch TV, eat snacks and drink fruit tea. So comfortable! Very, very good for taking photos! Few people and good views The weather in November is pretty good Not too many people, very suitable for taking photos and checking in Stayed with my family, warm butler service Smart home in the whole house, super large bathtub!!! The bed is very comfortable, slept well, and not noisy There is a super large floor-to-ceiling window for viewing! Jackie and Leo are both lovely I was offered so much generosity and warmth straight away! Extremely knowledgeable about all the areas hikes and activities, linked it with good recommendations for local food and drinks. Also very attentive to questions and also providing help whilst finding trails on hikes etc. Genuinely lovely people in a incredibly beautiful landscape. It makes sense to stay here. Its the one.

WOW !! We were absolutely blown away by this amazing Hotel. We couldn't believe that everything looks just as good in real life as you see in the photos. We booked the room which we believe looks the best and has the best view (located on the top floor) and were so happy we chose it. Staying here was such an amazing and unique experience that we can't wait to stay here again for our next trip to China. Here are the highlights of our time here: 1) As mentioned before, our suite has 100% the best views of any Hotel in Yangshuo. It really does have a 270 Degree view and you can also see the sky thanks to partial glass roof. 2) The whole area is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for a getaway from the busy life in the city 3) The Hotel's staff are very friendly and helpful, ready to assist you with any request at any hour. One of the best customer service experiences we ever had! 4) The entire building and our room was very well maintained and clean 5) There is also a lovely swimming pool which we did not have the chance to use but it looks very nice 6) The location is simply perfect for what we wanted. And considering how cheap the taxis are (less than 10 Yuan to get to the city centre) it's well worth staying here. You can also walk for about 20 minutes to get in the city. 7) Although it is not technically a full service hotel, we really appreciated all the services provided, especially the daily housekeeping when they replaced our towels, etc 8) The video projector is a nice touch, and so is the HUGE bathtub which can probably fit 4 adults 9) As Westerners we also really appreciated the electronic / japanese-style toilet with automated flushing and all the functions 10) The air conditioner is surprisingly powerful and can easily keep up with very hot weather even if you open all the curtains Things worth noting: 1) The mattress was a bit firm for us and the pillows a bit too thin for our liking 2) The projector is set up for Chinese users and, unless you cast from your phone or mirror the screen, you won't have much luck 3) The bathtub would have been even better if it were jetted (like a jacuzzi), but this is not really an issue Overall this is certainly one of the best hotels you can choose in Yangshuo and we can 100% recommend staying here.

I would like to praise a few specific points: 1. The housekeeper and the front desk lady learned that it was my birthday and gave me a very warm birthday care, a beautiful and delicious cake. I think it was very warm for a guest staying in the hotel! On this day, to be honest, the blessings around me were not pouring in on my mobile phone, but the service of the hotel made me feel warm. After working for so many years, whether it is friendship or colleagues and partners, I really felt deeply when facing this birthday cake! This cake and this touching feeling will make me remember Yangshuo, poetry and the distance in my heart 2. I would like to praise an aunt who cooks rice noodles at the breakfast rice noodle stall. Advice to foreign travellers: contact the hotel if you’re ever lost! They are more than happy to help. We didnt learn that until we realized we were on the wrong bus and took a longer route which made our travel to Longji a bit more stressful than needed. Once arrived, the rooms are very clean, the view is beautiful and locals are very nice. Just remember to not be shy! The food served at the restaurant was delicious and the area was nicely located. The view was so good we didn’t feel like we needed to leave the area at all during our stay. 10/10 would recommend to a friend or return! Thanks again

The hotel was packed with noisy children due to summer school holidays but she always have a smile on her face . Dinner is ala carte. Remember to book early as the kitchen staff struggles to cope if the hotel is full. Our room was big and comfortable with a bath tub out on the balcony with a retractable roof. Only negative point is there is no lift. People with walking issues may struggle up the spiral stairs . The staff help you with your luggage . Overall an excellent hotel with wonderful hospitable staff. Highly recommended.
