Lake House of Bayfield

Came here for my birthday meal. We were asked to come early before a big group. We ordered right away and then watched as other people left and new people sat got there food before us while we were still waiting. After 75 mins I finally said something. No apology, or omg let me go see what’s going on. But rather ‘oh ya the kitchen is just backed up it’s coming’ after 75 mins of waiting we got a Caesar salad appetizer. I had to ask what was going on and if the order was messed up cause at this point we shouldn’t be paying. Still no apology, instead didn’t come back to address it. Finally our food came and the owner came out with the waitress. Still no apology or mention of their mess up. I asked again if anything was being done. She told me they would take 50% off the bill. Asked if I want another glass of wine and joked ya ‘if it’s on the house’. The owner turned around and yelled “No!” I mean not at all as the owner of a restaurant how you deal with people. It’s unfortunate as I used to like this place and recommend it as I live here. I won’t be recommending this any more. Waitress was nice but didn’t know how to handle the situation.
