Hotel Salak the Heritage Bogor Reviews

Heritage hotel, in good condition despite the building age. We stay in 6th floor, the elevator only reaches 5th floor so we still need to take stairs. Standart room in 6th floor is quite large, we put our twin bed together for the three of us and still feel spacious. The hotel has special low-calorie dishes, dendeng and satay, which I think were made for vegan. They have delicious doughnuts, must try for desert. There's a wet wet party for kids in the pool everymorning. I tried their billiard and old piano, which was a nice experience.

We often visit Bogor and always choose this hotel to stay. Near alun2 dan kebun raya. Also, special culinary we always have is bubur ayam in front of the hotel...

Currently, I'm a pregnant woman. the room is located on 6 floors and the elevator only reaches the 5 floors then I have to continue by the staircase to the sixth floor. The room is so smelly with smoke, We asked to change the room to a nonsmoking room but they can't give. the bathroom tile is so slippery we must be extra careful when bathing. when breakfast time we didn't know our room had already been checked as having taken the breakfast we just got down to have breakfast, luckily the manager saw this intention and allowed me to have breakfast. the room has a no-view window even though it's on the sixth floor, how come?

Nice heritage hotel immediately fronting the Bogor Kebun Raya though the main gate entrance about 20 minutes walking. Enjoyed the walk from hotel to and within Kebun Raya Bogor.It is walking distance to the train station. Few eateries nearby. The hotel itself is value for money. Breakfast is good with many variety local food. Love the nutmeg drinks and Bogor coffee. Room is clean and the staff are helpful.

The hotel is old, creepy. Room was smelly, bathroom was clogging, carpet was dirty. Breakfast was mediocre. The only good thing is the strategic location.

Just an old hotel.

There were many unpleasant nuances. We had to ask for everything. When we checked in, there were no towels in the room. They were brought only after we had to go down to the reception. The next morning at 9 am they woke us up with a knock on the door and asked us to clean. But we just wanted to rest and get some sleep after a hard journey. We went down for breakfast. A buffet was announced, but there was none, we were left hungry. The next two days, breakfast had to be agreed upon in advance, it was brought to the room. During the cleaning, which we did not ask for, the staff took away the soap and towels. We had to ask for new soap and towels. The hotel is very old, the room is dirty, a lot of dust and dirt on the curtains.

Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, strategic location, shady, spacious parking.

This is the umpteenth time I've stayed here, but yesterday the breakfast menu on a weekday was less varied, unlike the weekend breakfast menu.
