We had high hopes that we'd have a cute little cabin for our stay, but it was closer to one of those cabins that you see in horror movies. The bathroom was moudly and musty, to the point that we had to keep the door shut to avoid smelling it. When we turned on the bathroom fan it got even worse, there were ants in the bathroom, and there was potpourri in there to try to hide the smell. Cupboards in the bathroom and kitchen were hanging crookedly, there was no hot water for showering - you only had a few seconds of hot water before the heater shut off. There wasn't a plug for the bathroom sink, so we had to stuff a wash cloth in the drain to try and do a light wash in the sink (since showers weren't an option with no hot water). The sinks in the bathroom and kitchen were rust stained and so was the stove. The curtains had burn marks, the fridge had a burned out light, it was missing a front step (that should have been our first clue how bad things were going to be 😶). The towels were stained, the couch was stained, the flooring was stained, the carpet was stained, the kettle was stained, the internet kicked in and out, etc. Some of these are only little things, but all together they add up to show how little care is put into maintaining this place. The only good thing I can say is that the beds were comfy and the roof didn't leak. If you're thinking of staying here, DON'T! It is way too expensive and you can get a much nicer stay almost anywhere else.
We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were extremely friendly, the bedroom was clean and the mattress was perfect. I noticed someone on their review said the elevator was slow but this was definitely not a problem when we were there. The only negative are the bath towels. The bath towels are extremely thin and there were only two of them. The hotel is close to the Agawa Train station and we were able to walk there in about 10 minutes. There is a mall directly across the street and the board walk is minutes away. Breakfast was included and it was alright. There were always eggs, sausages, potatoes, yogurt, juice, and toast (bagels, english muffins or bread).
My daughter and I had to visit Sault Ste. Marie for something and stayed at the Quattro Hotel in S.S Marie Ontario. It was my very best experience ever, everything was beautiful and very friendly staff

Excellent pet friendly motel. Clean rooms, reasonably priced and friendly check in with good recommendations for a place to eat. Easy access to motel (en route) as we were travelling east AKA good location. Green space out front and behind motel for walking g your dog. We enjoyed our stay.
We always stay at the water tower inn when we go to the Soo. The hotel is clean and couldn't be more conveniently located with two restaurants on site. Plus plenty of shopping and restaurants near by. The kids absolutely love the pool and outdoor hot tub. Highly recommend!! It's always a great stay!!!
The location and amenities were great, but almost every facet of the trip was made frustrating by the hotel booking policies and front desk manager. I had a $250 Delta gift card that could not be used to pre-book the room to get a better rate. I called and was told I’d have to book the “member rate” (since I’m a member of Marriot Bonvoy and have their app) to use my gift card. That rate was $60 worse than prepaying on the app and $89 worse than trip.com. Considering they already have the money from the gift card you’d think they would have a way to use it while booking on their app or over the phone, not gouge you for the worst possible rate. Next, while we reserved a “water view room”, not a “partial water view” and paid extra, the photos show our lovely view of a steel plant, parking lot, mall and partial water view if you walked right up to the window and looked out at a sharp angle. I called 2 days before and requested early check in and was told 1pm. When I arrived our room was not ready. The manage (R****) was extremely rude and just acted confused, as if she didn’t understand, but seemed to understand and was just unwilling to do anything. There was a sock under the bed.
The staff and servers at the restaurant were so helpful in making our stay enjoyable. They were enthusiastic about the area's attractions. Breakfast was great, and the room was clean. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant conveniently attached to the motel, the Soo Blaster. We appreciated that breakfast was ready in time for guests who had to leave early to catch the Agawa Canyon Tour Train. The motel was a little dated, but the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food totally made up for it.
The hotel is very new and the service is very good. Although it is only a fast hotel standard, the actual room facilities and service levels are very good. There are free masks for entry. Breakfast cannot be provided for dine-in, but breakfast is provided for take-out, which is very intimate... …
This is an excellent place to stay on budget. When I told the manager that I need a room on the ground level as I wanted to park the car near to it, he gave me a nice room on the ground level. I am pleased with every aspect of this nice place. I will of Five out of Five for this place for cleanliness, affordability, and friendly management.
The location of this hotel is also very convenient, there is a mall not far away, you can see the United States opposite. You can watch the sunset by the water. The breakfast here is average, can be full, there are coffee bread, waffles, sausage, quiche, cereal, a little fruit and yogurt, this hotel service is very good, the room setting is good, the bed is very comfortable, as for No extra bed, I really don't know. I have two big beds in the room. If I squeeze, I should be able to sleep four people. Overall, this hotel is good!

Excellent
MMirbeeThis motel was exactly as pictured on the web. It was super clean and comfortable. We just needed overnight accommodation which fit our budget and standards. There was a coffee maker, microwave and mini-fridge, along with a work desk. We were able to park our vehicle right in front of our room. The property outside is well-maintained. The manager/owner helped us immediately upon arriving and continued to offer assistance when he thought we may need some. In fact, we had arrived early and there was a power outage in that section of town. As it was raining we had decided not to register but leave and go fill our gas tank. Unbeknownst to us, he had noticed our coming and going and when I went into the office to register he offered his apologies for the outage inconvenience. We really appreciate his personal interest. Right next door is a bar and grill, which was super convenient for super.
