2-Star Hotels in Darmstadt

We were the first time on Saturday in the train as VIP guests of an event near the guest The greeting of the receptionist was cool and rapiad . He looked nervous and we had just a question to park and were instructed, you should listen to him first, he explains to him everything. Online we had deposited a free water on the room when booking. The room was clean And is functionally furnished . All well suited to the standard. Unfortunately fungal in the showers and a moderous smell. Sunday morning we were wake up by extreme noise. A foot shower from the room next to ee hears if a press airfighter penetrates the wall. In our bathroom injects the water heavily on the wires, everything was completely wet, also private items. Our private items were wet and despite late check out we were timely at breakfast thanks to the noise ; -) On the floor everything is provided by housekeeping ubd you need to pay great attention not to stick. I would definitely recommend staying here. The check-in went smoothly and we were able to check-in early. It’s an older hotel, but the rooms are well maintained and clean. We were traveling from the USA and took the train here from Frankfurt. The hotel is not too far from the Darmstadt Sud bahnhof, and I would only recommend walking it if you have a small/very light suitcase or backpack (there are several stairs and no elevators at the Sud bahnhof). We made the mistake of dragging our large suitcases and other bags here, because my brothers-in-law said it was a short walk. We took an Uber back to the train station. The hotel has an elevator that fits one person and a suitcase, but you’ll need to be able to lift your suitcase up the few steps to get into the building and up the couple of steps to get to the elevator landing. I do not recall the hotel being wheelchair accessible. There is also a small dining room in the lobby. We didn’t eat here, but breakfast is available. It was a comfortable stay and we would stay here again.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. The service left to wish. The idea of checking in automation is in itself good if it would work. We couldn't check in because we said we paid too much automatically, it always came to the reception, but there was no. If a nice lady had not given us the information you get help in the neighboring hotel, we would certainly still stand today. The hotel itself was okay. Slight memory of youth hostels, but it was clean.

The best hotel is guaranteed for business, as all Darmstadt-relevant companies are right around the corner. Too far from the center for tourists. But: a great hotel with a fantastic concept. Everything looks newly renovated, and with love. Staff very helpful - 24/7. Super clean... We felt very comfortable. Breakfast service was also very good.

Very pleasant clean hotel well located right next to the railway station. It’s as you would expect for Holiday Inn. The room which we asked for my top story was modern fresh, lovely linen and a lovely big bathroom. We couldn’t get the TV to work one morning morning, we were checking out so I didn’t bother. Housekeeping came every day and the toiletries in the bathroom was dove and it was lovely a real nice touch. Head disabled parking which is what I needed close to the entrance door. The service from the desk at reception was very efficient. The breakfast was a good selection, although there are no cooked breakfast available.

The hotel is good but the customer experience is terrible. On the first day they did an authorazisation transcaction much higher than my actual reservation. I cleared my bill at the check out day but the difference (approx 200 euros) is still blocked after 20 days. I have called them i have send 2 emails and nothing! Unacceptable behavior!

Neat, clean, modern hotel. Cash free. The rooms were comfortable for the most part, with plenty of power points and a large LED TV, however the room lacked a fridge. This wouldn't normally bother me, but I was staying 12 days. The bathrooms are the typical plastic ones found in cheaper hotels. Be aware that the entrance to the parking is extremely tight. They say 2m wide however it is actually only about 1.8m at the entrance boom gate. To fit I needed to retract the mirrors on the vehicle. The hotel is cashless, but frustratingly the vending machine in the lobby only takes cash - and the staff can't provide change. A solid 3 star hotel
