Fenghuang Dengli Courtyard Inn (East Gate of the Ancient City) Reviews

This Inn is well located in the city. About a 7 minute walk from the gates. Easy to find. Rooms are spacious and clean. The garden is beautiful and quite. Air conditioning works and shoots hot. Beds are very comfortable. Host is kind and patient. She helped me book tickets for a theatre show and also gave me breakfast. I extended my stay an 2 nights. I will absolutely stay again.

1. Very good service. Met us at HONG QIAO and help with luggage. Its a FAR walk down the staircase through alleys on Cobblestone walkways. We hv to drag own suitcase on departure up the stairs as we left very early. Make sure call to meet at HongQiao. Location is very close to scenic area once familiarize with the lanes and alleys. We got lost few times finding the hotel. 2. Read review about SPIDER in residence. and true enough.. saw the big spider on check out day. 3. We check in at noon. open the luggage on floor came back and saw coachroach inside. Owner bring SPRAY to try catch the coachroach but could not be found. 4. Most yucky is the KETTLE. i hv wash and rinse before using. AFter boil water i pour into my thermos as there is no CUP in the room. Later i see the POT is full of some floating stuff and i went to vomit. felt very disgusted 5. No cups in room. The drawer where hair dryer is.. Is full of dust. Our room is on ground-floor next to reception.

It was a really pleasant stay. It was a bit difficult to find at the beginning due to the narrow streets but it is really good located. The owner was super nice and welcoming. We could also do the laundry there without problems. I would highly recommend this acommodation :)

This hotel is near Hong Qiao. Location is great but not easy to find the hotel.

Clean and tidy, elegant and quiet environment. The boss's service is first-class, and he is very careful and thoughtful in giving us directions. It is rare to meet such a warm and thoughtful B&B. I will definitely patronize it next time.

Dengli Courtyard Inn has a comfortable small courtyard, which is very suitable for parents to stay with, giving them a sense of comfort in their own courtyard. They can sit in the courtyard in the morning. The owner is also very enthusiastic and kind, just like a friend, and will introduce us which restaurant has delicious food. It is also very convenient to stay in Dengli Courtyard when visiting scenic spots, so that you can go back to the inn to rest when you are tired.

Very good service attitude, clean environment, worth recommending

Fenghuang Ancient Town is a bit average, not very interesting, and the weather is relatively hot. One room has a bit of a musty smell. It should be because the ventilation is not handled well. Overall, it is okay, so that's it.

The Tuojiang River is nearby the inn, which is clean and refreshing. After dinner, I took a stroll along the Tuojiang River and felt so comfortable with the faint river breeze. The rooms in the inn are comfortable, warm and elegant, and the service attitude is also very good. Before arriving, I made a phone call. Within a few minutes, they came directly to pick up the guests and helped carry their luggage. They also prepared a variety of fruits, which tasted quite good. If you come to experience the fun of settling in, please put down your work and enjoy life to the fullest.

The house is very unique, with a courtyard, clean and hygienic, and there is a scenic spot right outside. The landlady is very welcoming and turns on the air conditioner in the room before people arrive. Because we parked elsewhere, the landlady picked us up on foot and the location is easy to find.

In the ancient city scenic area, it is close to Hongqiao and Li Family Ancestral Hall. Quiet in the bustle, the small courtyard is very pleasant. I thought the first floor was damp, but it was actually fine. I didn't feel it. The proprietress was very enthusiastic, introduced us the route and stored our luggage.
