The hotel is so nice and clean. The breakfast is yummy. The hotel staff is also nice.

Quite convenient place! Walking distance can reach many of food stalls and restaurants

Kimberly Hotel is hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We booked two rooms, traveling with two elderly ladies, and the entire stay was nothing short of a disaster. My aunt got food poisoning from the buffet breakfast, which was both unhygienic and downright terrible. She suffered from diarrhea and vomiting for two days. This hotel is barely worthy of one star. The rooms are small, gloomy, and uncomfortable. In the so-called "Oriental Room," there was a horrible stench coming from the toilet, which only worsened my aunt’s condition. To make matters worse, the air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted, making the entire room feel even more stifling. Despite complaining about the food poisoning, no one from the hotel followed up. I had to take my aunt to a clinic myself to get her treated. After that, we couldn’t even think of eating at the breakfast buffet again. The hotel’s second lift was faulty, and although I informed housekeeping staff, they didn’t bother doing anything about it. The only redeeming staff member was Pushkar from security, who helped my mother a few times, and I will say the café staff were at least friendly. However, these small gestures don’t make up for the overall experience. I am demanding that Kimberly Hotel reimburse me for the clinic expenses and the two days' worth of breakfast we missed. The lobby may give a four-star impression, but beyond that, everything is dirty, smelly, and utterly disappointing. The room walls are paper-thin, and the entire layout is cramped. Even the iron and board are left outside the rooms. Stay away from this hotel!

Near shop.. easy to eat. I 1st time stay here. So tired working not have enough time to explore

Bathroom has bad smell, shower curtain looks dirty, sink has black mold, bath towel looks worn out. WiFi not working , so TV also not working. When showering, bathroom gets flooded. The plus point of this hotel is the location which is in the middle of many eating places.

I could understand the old facilities. I went there knowing that they were cheap and three stars. But I didn't understand how all those reviews came out. A female employee at the check-in counter was very unfriendly. When I asked the second time, I felt uncomfortable all over my body. There were no face towels in the room, 2peaces of bath towel only, and the bathroom curtain was full of mold. I stayed for three nights and asked to clean the room twice, but they left the coffee cup and water cup without washing them. It was difficult to watch TV, so I asked for service, and the female employee said, very bluntly.

Air-conditioner is not cold, hotel should service. Other than this, no complaints

Great location, located nearby komtar. Easy access to penang favorites foodies. All within the walking distance from the hotel.

Lift makes huge sound when ppl take lift up n down, clean service like only change bedsheet n pillow cover n replace towel, floor and wall and other facilities like old n dirty. The only good thing is location quite good, very near Kimberly street for foods.

My 2nd time staying here, 1st time here is on 2023 , need to improving Wifi speed and route.

The room and the bed were comfortable. The bathroom was big. Would be better if there are more hooks or hangers to hang the clothes and towels. The Breakfast spread was simple but good enough for us as the first meal. Service Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel location is within walking distance to popular locations like Campbell Street, Chulia Street Night Market, Armenian Street.

Stayed over the weekends, for amenities hotel needs to change shower curtain as it is already stained   and toilet seat is discolored as well as the towel can really noticed is very old.  Hotel stay is ok and good. Restaurant staff are very attentive.
