Went to the tui blue orquidea for a week 28th Nov to dec5th weather was lovely and warm in the daytime bit of a breeze in the evening,Easy 20 min transfer to hotel, check in was smooth and hassle free, staff very helpful,we were give a room on 1st floor 142 just above restaurant a lovely pool view with a sea view in distance, surrounded by lovely well established palm trees.we had a split level room with a fridge and a kettle our room was perfectly adequate just the shower was a bit dated, our air con was fine. The pool areas were lovely one of the pools was heated and was really busy, you can also use the sister hotel next door and all the facilities as well,we got loungers easily every day no problems nearer to the SEA as it was a bit quieter and we got all day sun.Breakfast was a wide variety of hot and cold options plenty of choice,we were all inclusive and the lunch menu again was perfectly adequate, drinks were very good with a good selection of cocktails,Again evening meals were ok various themes each day, could have been a bit hotter,we could have had a free a late carte as part of the AI at the taverns but we aren't overly keen on tapas,we did however have a delicious steak at la sultan restaurant all inc gets you a 25% discount, there are a few restaurants opposite the hotel,a lovely setting it you fancy a change there is also a cracking cocktail at opposite as well Frankys.there is an adult seating section in the hotel restaurant and to be honest there were a lot of families with children so it can get a bit noisy at mealtimes. It is a tui blue hotel so that is to be expected it is very family friendly there is a lot of activities for the children.we booked a trip to Puerto mogan on the ferry you can get a bus outside the hotel next to the spar to playa del ingles ,maspolomas or las palmas. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay the hotel all in all was fine and the staff were excellent very friendly.
