Jijia Yaju Hotel Reviews

The highlight is the female staff, the only one who manned the counter. She was very helpful as she provided routes and advices for my visit to Wulingyuan and tips for other parts of China that i was visiting. Room was very clean but very small. Cosy for 2 nights stay. Hot water was good. Shower was strong. Surrounding was the food street, Mixue, Starbucks and KFC (international necessities) and about 200m away is Wulingyuan entrance. I will come back here to stay again.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room is very clean and new. They even offer daily cleaning and changing my bed sheet. The lady at the front desk assisted me with all the attraction tickets and planned my visit at the park. They have a very cute cat in the glass box at the lobby. I wish the cat could roam around freely but I guess they have to consider ppl who don't cat as well. The cat is very affectionate. If you stay there don't forget to say hello with her

This hotel is very near to the East Gate of the Zhangjiajie National Forest. The location is awesome, and there is no lack of good food. The night market is just a few steps from the hotel. The room is big enough for a family of four. My only complaint is that the rooster woke up too early to send you a morning call at 4 am. Overall experience is great. BTW, we loved the cat in the hotel.

Would recommend Room Nice big bed, big TV, blackout curtains, kettle, lockable door. after weeks staying in hostels this felt luxurious haha. it has this smart room function which is pretty cool you can verbally ask it to do stuff like turn on the lights or close the curtains, but also bear in mind it responds to chinese phrases. my room only had a bin in the bathroom it might be nice to have one in the room too but not a big problem Location Walking distance to an entrance to Zhangjiajie Scenic Area. Also walking distance to the town where you can see performances. Lots of shops and restaurants in the local area. Think my Didi from the Zhangjiajie West Train Station was about 30minutes/90 yuan, but I think there are also bus options (I arrived after bus operating hours so not too sure) Hosting There was a bit of a language barrier, but the receptionists were very helpful with booking tickets for Zhangjiajie and Tianmen Mountain, and they also gave me a map. Amenities There's a washing machine but you operate it via like a wechat app and I know me and another traveler struggled to get it to accept our international bank cards. I eventually managed but the other girl didn't so I guess it varies. Washer is like less than 50p I think, and the dryer was broken when i went so i used the drying racks on the roof Bathroom Clean functional bathroom, nice shower and sit down toilet

Great stay, super close to the convenient store and Zhangjiajie Ticket office. The staff was super helpful though I could barely speak Chinese. Everything was super clean and new it gives off a bit of a smart hotel vibe.

10/10.5star room quality, auto flush toilet, AI lighting. Location is just 5 min walk to Wulingyuan entrance gate..Receptionist help us plan our 3-day exploration of ZJJ scenic park. She booked all tickets with our passport. . Only facial scanning at all entry point. For TianMen Shan, pick up ticket at station. Roof top gives a bird eye view of Wulingyuan. Night time, street in front of hotel becomes a food street. Cheap and good breakfast 2 doors away.

Great place to stay if you’re planning to visit Zhangjiajie forest park. The staff helped us to book our park tickets and even helped us to plan the itinerary around the park for the 2 days we were there. The rooms are spacious and clean, and we had a great night’s rest. Location was awesome too, just a 5 minutes walk from the entrance, has a small night market, places to eat and massage parlours just outside. There is also a washer and a dryer in the hotel (need to pay). Would stay again :)

Close to Zhangjiajie Park entrance, Staff very helpful and nice. Room was modern, clean and quiet. Only the advertised Mountain View is more in the background of the busy street than the main focus.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Help us with every ticket for both ZJJ and performance. Very knowledgeable able how should we avoid crowd and plan the route when visiting ZJJ. No complain about cleanliness. Despite room is small witb bed sidewalk could only fit a 24 in luggage, I would still rate as great place to stay. Near to East entrance about 5 mins walk, breakfast, restaurant and grocery all close by. ❤️

We arrive in huaihua airport at 9.20 pm, the hotel already called didi & pick up us in the airport, arrive in the property around 11 pm, the young lady (miss zhang) in front desk waiting for us & welcome us nicely & politely , explain the route how to go to wulingshan the next 2 days, we also can buy the ticket there that is cheaper than we buy in the counter, no need to queue. The room is very clean & very comfortable it is look just exactly the same as the picture. Very quiet so we can sleep very well. The room is cleaned everyday, the cleaning service lady very kind & polite. Location is very near to the east gate , walking only 5 minutes. No worry about the food , it's very near (2 minutes walking) to the food stalls & restaurants , we can find nice food until midnight. Very convenient . We feel satisfied staying there & introduce this property to our friends. Excellent !

Good accommodation, clean, near the ticket booth, good service staff, gave advice and helped book to Zhangjiajie and found a car to take to the train station.
