Reopened after 2 years, Shengxiang Tianmen full guide
🌟Reopened after 2 years, limited to 100 reservations per day
🌟Background: "Shengxiang Tianmen" is called "Tangla Jiaguo" in Tibetan, meaning: the holy gate of Namtso goddess married by Nyenchen Tanglha.
It is said that the night before the mountain god Nyenchen Tanglha married the goddess Namtso, the Virgin Mary "Manainai" specially sent 108 golden boys and girls to build this gate in one night to celebrate.
Shengxiang Tianmen, a beautiful legend about the formation of Namtso, tells the romantic and loyal love story of the mountain god Nyenchen Tanglha and the goddess Namtso.
🌟Current situation: Reopened at the end of September 2024 after more than two years of closure
🌟How to make a reservation: Limited to 100 people per day. Official Youzangyou WeChat mini program (not an advertisement); if you can't make a reservation, you can sign up for a one-day tour on major platforms, which is generally available. I couldn't make a reservation for the next day's ticket, so I signed up for a one-day tour.
🌟Ticket price: Reservations can be made three days in advance, tickets + sightseeing bus CNY 100
🌟Location: During the trial operation, you can drive directly to the visitor center near the Three Holy Stones in Moon Bay, verify the ticket, and take the sightseeing bus to the scenic spot.
🌟Impression:
1. The road is much better than before, no more washboard road
2. There are many campsites, sunrooms, and starlight rooms in the visitor center, which are still in trial operation;
3. For the sake of ecology and protection, it is a pity that you cannot reach the gate, you can only watch it on the viewing platform;
4. Two viewing platforms, each with different scenery
🌟Notes:
You only need to buy one ticket (Shengxiang Tianmen ticket), no need to buy Namtso scenic area ticket

Lake Namtso in Tibet.
Lake Namtso, meaning "heavenly lake" in Tibetan, is the highest of the three sacred lakes on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the highest saltwater lake in the world. Legend has it that the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountain God is one of the nine creator gods, and his wife is Lake Namtso. The sacred Tashi Dor is where they held their wedding, a sacred place that witnessed their eternal love. They are still together today. The Three Holy Stones (Three Protectors) are the incarnations of the three bodhisattvas of Tantric Buddhism: Manjushri, Guanyin, and Vajrapani.

If heaven has a form, it must look like the Holy Elephant Gate!
In the year I turned thirty, I finally went to Tibet with my dearest friends, a place I had dreamed of for so long. There, I saw the blue sky and white clouds that I will never forget in my life. As we drove over the mountains, through the bumpy roads, I finally saw the sacred Holy Elephant Gate! Shining with a brilliant golden edge! We couldn't help but scream in the car! If heaven has a form, I believe at that moment, it must have been the Holy Elephant Gate! The blue sky was exceptionally clean, the white clouds edged with gold, and the layered peaks brought the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen I read in my childhood into reality at that moment.
Whenever I am troubled by the trivial matters of work in the city, the image of the Holy Elephant Gate heals me time and again. In the quiet of the deep night, every look can cleanse the soul. I have dreamed about Tibet for too long. I am grateful to have a group of like-minded friends, to create more beautiful memories at a stage where we could just go is truly a wonderful thing!

Bamuco | Dreamy blue lake
| Dreamy blue lake. Not far from Namtso, there is a lake called Bamuco, which means warrior lake. This unexpectedly discovered lake is so blue that it makes people's hearts move and intoxicates people.
On the way from Bange County to Namtso, I accidentally found a steep path, and followed the path to reach the Bamuco viewing platform. Although I have seen many lakes along the way, I was still amazed when I saw Bamuco.
The blue of Bamuco is dreamy, like walking into the world of oil paintings. The sand and stones outline the soft lines of the lake shore, with blue lake water on one side and green grass on the other. Even if the wind at the viewing platform is strong, I can't help but press the shutter a few more times to freeze this beautiful moment.
If you come to Namtso to play, I suggest you also come to see this dreamy blue lake~
📍Location: Bange County, Naqu City, Tibet
💰Tickets: Free
🚗How to get there: You need to drive/charter a car to get there, navigate to "Bamuco"
🌟Note: The intersection of the path to the viewing platform is not conspicuous, it is easy to miss, remember to pay attention at that time
