Zoo Negara - KL, Malaysia

Zoo Negara was created in 1968 on 45 hectares of land 5 km from Kuala Lumpur. There 5000 animals of 500 species have been recreated. The zoo has 16 spacious themed locations. Giraffes, zebras, ostriches, white rhinos live in the savanna zone. Visitors can watch large wild cats in the "Kingdom of Mammals". Elephants, bears, hippos live separately. Monkeys, pandas, penguins are in their own places. Zoo Negara has large amount of birds, reptiles and insects. The freshwater aquarium presents the river world of Malaysia.
