Mianyang Beichuan Jiuhuang Mountain | A Different Kind of Beauty

🌈Attraction Introduction: Jiuhuang Mountain Scenic Area is located in Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. It was formerly known as Yuanwang Cave Scenic Area, and later expanded to include the back mountain. 📅Attraction Guide: Main attractions in the front mountain: Lovers' Bridge, Glass Bridge, Yuanwang Cave, Guanyin Cliff; Front mountain tour route: 🚶‍♂️Large loop: (round trip 7-8 km, 4-5 hours) 1⃣️Hike from the visitor center to Xiqiang Square. The path is very steep and takes about 1 hour. 2⃣️Take the cable car🚠 or sightseeing bus from the visitor center to Xiqiang Square. Round-trip fare is 60 (for reference only, subject to change during peak and off-peak seasons). 3⃣️Hike from Xiqiang Square → Xianshan Platform → Guanyin Cliff → Lovers' Bridge → Yuanwang Cave → Qianren Cliff Walkway 🚶‍♂️Small loop: (round trip 4 km, 1-3 hours) 1⃣️Take the cable car🚠 or sightseeing bus from the visitor center to Xiqiang Square. 2⃣️Hike from Xiqiang Square → Xianshan Platform → Guanyin Cliff → Lovers' Bridge → Yuanwang Cave - return to Xiqiang Square (this section is the highlight of the front mountain and is a must-see). Back mountain tour suggestions: 1⃣️Visitor Center → Yunzhong Qiang Village Cableway - Xiqiang Square - Snack Street (you must go up the mountain first to go to the back mountain) 2⃣️Qiangqing Garden Cableway - Erma Ancient Road (attractions include: Glass Walkway, Sacred Forest, Qiang Tower, Ladder to Heaven) - Qiangqing Garden Cableway (Qiang wedding performances at noon) - Yunzhong Farm (great for photos📸, feed cute animals) 🚗Transportation: Self-driving navigation: Jiuhuang Mountain Scenic Area Visitor Center, Beichuan County, Mianyang City Public transportation: 1⃣️Take a bus from Chengdu Zhaojue Temple Bus Station to Jiangyou Bus Station, then transfer to a bus to Jiuhuang Mountain. Buses run continuously. 2⃣️Take a high-speed train🚄 from Chengdu East Railway Station to Jiangyou Railway Station, then transfer to a bus to Jiuhuang Mountain at Jiangyou Bus Station. 🎫Tickets: Subject to change during peak and off-peak seasons. 🥙Dining: There are many snack bars along the road to Xiqiang Hotel, selling cold noodles, brown sugar tofu pudding, grilled sausage, cured ribs, cured sausage, fresh juice, drinks, instant noodles, etc. ❤Notes: 1⃣️Some sections of the mountain path and Guanyin Cliff Walkway are narrow and steep. Do not walk too fast. 2⃣️In summer, remember to stay hydrated and bring Huoxiang Zhengqi Liquid. 3⃣️Take sun protection measures. 4⃣️Follow the rules when taking the cable car and sightseeing bus. 5⃣️The temperature in Yuanwang Cave is low and the area is large. Bring extra clothes if needed.
